Anyone know the reason given for Garbine's retirement?
It was 'heat related' doctor advised Garbine to not continue with the match.

I think that's the reason Serena states for not doing it...that she can't do it at Slams, so why get used to it. And I've never seen Venus do it. And they're two of the toughest out there. It doesn't do any good for the women's argument for equal pay that they act like they need their (mostly male) coaches to get them through the rough patches. I don't blame the players, I blame the WTA. It's a ridiculous rule that undermines the women and they need to cut it out ASAP.Tactics are a very important part of tennis,at this level you should be able to adjust your game accordingly.I honestly feel it is 'Spoon Feeding' players when a coach has to point out what you are doing wrong. At GS level coaches are not allowed on court, which makes this rule a complete joke.
i picked Karolina to win Miami....I just hoped I have not jinxed her.Good to see Lucie Safarova finding some good form after a horrid 2016 with illness.Always good to see Miss Vee in the mix at any tournament.
Looks like your oracle is working. Vee just a game away, and Konta did it earlier today.I am going for Konta to upset Halep,Miss Vee to defeat Kerber.
