I actually give credence to Rafa's chances this year. Whether Rafa can get past the first week depends on the draw. There are not too many big servers who are consistent enough to mount an attack and win. Rafa might actually catch a break in the early part of the tourney this year. If Rafa gets past the first week, he could suddenly become a contender for the title.

Further another different this year is that he did not play since AO retirement to Davis Cup (that is like more than two months of break). So, he is apt to be fresh as well.
I guarantee you that Rafa will go further and be playing Roger most likely on championship Sunday. No one (Fed fans)is accepting the subtle tweaks in his game especially the cc bh. I expect that Moya and Toni are Architecting the perfect antidote to Roger’s current domination of lawn(yawn) Tennis. Heck, that’s why Darth is so acigitated. “You cannot stop what’s coming “

I can't see how you can guarantee Nadal will be playing on championship Sunday when nothing over the past years indicates that? I would love the idea of Fed playing Nadal on grass but that's not happening.

I don’t think you should be so dismissive of Rafa’s chances on grass however the past 7 years has been horrible.
He has won two and made it to 3 other finals..That’s a lot better than what Roger has accomplished on clay.

I'm not dismissive of his chances on garbage grass. Im just stating he'd have zero chance on proper grass.

And I'd say Rafa's accomplishments on grass are barely above Roger's on clay. Fed has one win and 4 finals going against the surface goat while Rafa has 2 wins and 3 finals vs much weaker competition. Fed with 6 MS titles and also didn't lose to mega scrubs on the first week every year.

Enough..Darth the main problem i had early on as a tennis player, i didnt respect the skill of a pusher..the same can be said with you of Nadal, Djokovic and Murray's games. You dont respect their games..All three has earned their numerous titles and victories including whipping Roger's ass on many occasions . Its ludicrous that you NEVER give anyone their due respect, Especially Rafa(Wimbledon 08) and JMDP (US 09) over Roger. HELL, You dont give Novak his due over Roger back to back at Wimbledon, what you think they were flukes. Tennis is not a fair weather surface sport meaning the courts conditions are part of the game.

I give them plenty of respect, I just happen to respect Roger's game more and I expect Roger to destroy those fools on anything approaching a fast court. And you have probably seen me give props to Nole for 2014 Wimbledon, by far Roger's best performance in a slam final loss. 08 Wimbledon and 09 USO are two of his weaker performances in slam final losses, especially the latter. A set up and serving for the 2nd against a total greenhorn, that should be a 999/1,000 win. He blew it hardcore and overall he's given DP his only notable achievements.

The only antidote will be to hope Fed sucks a fat D again if they meet. Any decent tennis from Roger would see off Nads at Wimbledon. There is no RG 08 beatdown to cause Roger to shit the bed like Wimby 08.

Did they say where Ljubicic is this week? I like when he's there, he's the serious one on the team. Ivan may help keep him in the sport until his 40's if that's what it takes to hold off the pleb.

He immediately feeds Milos his break of the tourney

Good hold from 15-40 down to consolidate. He needs to start serving better though. Milos may be limited but he tees off on the 2nd serve as he should.

I didn't hear anything about Ivan. Are you watching TTC?

Yeah I'm watching TTC. Liking Fed's game a lot more today overall. If he starts serving like himself there won't be much to worry about.

Ivan doesn't come to every tournament, but I wish he did. He has the "don't F this up for me" feel in the box that I love.
