LOL! The NYTimes did a recent article about the backwards cap. Very amusing. I'll find it and post. I get the superstitions of players, but I was watching a recent match in one of the last 2-3 tourneys and there was the issue of sun in the eyes of the server. The guy serving was wearing a backwards cap and I thought: "Turn the bloody bill around! That's what it's for."
Nah..Moxie..you and BB have this one incorrectly. Just reference Tommy Haas, the backward cap provides an extra sweatband for those who sweat exceedingly heavy from the hair or forehead..

Be better off wearing a proper headband AP!
Not really my good friend BB..the circumference of the hat actully soaks more sweat or perspiration than a sweatband..my darker colored (black, blue or red) hats typically turn white because of all the salt that comes from playing 2-3 hours.

That surprises me mate but I'll take your word for it. I've never been able to wear a hat playing any sport.
