While we wait for the next LIVE tennis match - I think we should look back on memorable matches in womens tennis. First one which I think was terriffic is the final in Indian Wells 2019 between Kerber and Andreescu - so here it is the FULLL match

Thanks Hoergren,I became a big fan of Bianca in this match, hoepfully she can get healthy and remain injury free,I love watching her play.Bianca has so much variety in her game, good serve,a first class fhand, can volley, slice, another important factor is her 'winning mentality'....

What about this memorable quarterfinal in Australian Open 2010 - Li Na vs Venus Williams. Li Na made a fine comeback and had one of her wonderfull comments. See this HUGE match - really worth watching. Li Na beat Wozniacki in 4th round and lost to Serena in the semi.

I can only find highlights (it’s impossible to find some full matches, unfortunately), but this was the match of a lifetime for Caro. Simona was a couple of points from going up 5-3 in the third, but Caroline pushed through to win the AO.

I thought Caroline's chance of ever winning a major had slipped away, she showed in this match, true grit, she has always been one of the best athletes on tour, which was highlighted in this match, there were some great rallies by both players, momentum shifts in the match, after re-watching the match,I had tears in my eyes,I was so happy for Caroline winning her AO title,Simona had to wait a little longer to win her first major.

A little joke or wordsearch I found on Twitter. TASK The first tennisname you find is your next doubles partner. It can be a man or woman - I think. I found Dimitrov - well have a go:

I was listening to this match on the radio, as I was away on business at the time. There is something else about listening to radio matches, particularly with tennis.

(oops, sorry @Hoergren - just saw it was the last decade... but I think you should extend it anyway!)

Not easy to edit so if we just remember to post memorable matches it's ok for me - so keep posting tennisfriends :)

Did you know that the Barty party began over 7 years ago at the age of 15? Well here she is in an Australian Open Play off match in 2012 - and she played well and came through to the main draw and lost in first round.

Some funny moments on the WTA tour
