I wonder if this is actually true or just more "misinformation"? http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/world-news/missing-malaysian-airlines-flight-live-3242322

Well, as sad as it is, a bit of a closure , no? I highly doubt this will satisfy the public until the flight data recorder is recovered though.

Is it just me or does this seem a little strange? http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/world/2014/03/24/missing-malaysia-jetliner/6814799/

No one actually has any of these "objects" that are floating in the Ocean and yet they go ahead and tell the families they are dead! I would not have said this until someone actually had a piece of that plane. But then again this whole situation has been strange.

Could someone please come up with a piece of the plane?!

they moved the search area 100s of miles north from where they have been the last week or so..

lets face it, no one got a clue where it is (or was)..they now think the plane was flying faster so used up more fuel and crashed earlier, they couldn't work this out beforehand then ?..so presumably all those sat pics of "objects" in the ocean or not anything to get excited about.

YEP..ITS OFFICIAL. ITS A FIASCO. a wandering tumbleweed of global nonsense and confusion.

I thought the plane debris was found near Australia?

You can't blame the searchers for how they're doing this, it's a gigantic area to cover and they still don't know for sure if it was hijacked or the pilot went AWOL through personal issue. I read the other day that he brought the plane up to 43,000ft (or metres, or yards?) and everyone would have died 12 minutes later through hypo-toxin or hypaxia, because he'd have decompressed the chamber, but he'd still be alive, so then he did a few flight simulator whirligigs near space and the plane ran out of fuel and...

There's so much speculation. It's inevitable...

And it really bothers me that international politics has played a large role in this!

I have flown overseas around 40 times, taking the polar route from Vancouver to London on most of these trips. Some of the trip is over a large expanse of water, and there is a little trepidation that goes through your mind, because you are not in control of the situation. However, I have also flown a Cessna 172 on a couple of occasions and the thrill of doing this is incredible. I have flight simulator on my computer, so I do have a fair knowledge of what you have to contend with when flying. However, I just cannot comprehend what elements went wrong in this situation, so many theories but no real credible answers yet. Will we ever find out, is the ultimate question?:puzzled

If I feel like this is a nightmare that I can't wake up from, imagine how friends and family members must feel about this! For those of you who are aware of an old U.S. TV show called "The Twilight Zone" this plane story seems like it could have come right out of that show!

I wish I could print out these stories!

Sorry JLLB I must have missed your post! But we are definitely on the same page here. I can't remember too much about individual shows from The Twilight Zone, but the theme of MH370 just seemed to fit into the stories that Rod Sterling came up with. He was a man definitely ahead of his time. And it was a shame that he didn't live past 50. I'm sure he had more stories to tell, but didn't have the time to tell them.

I would like to find some reruns of The Twilight Zone so I could watch them now.

I can't help following the story. I guess I'm hoping one day I will read the plane has been found!
If it isn't, it certainly hasn't been due to lack of trying.
