i'd like to say i'm surprised by what's shaping to be the outcome, but i'm not. anyway, glad for Kei, really like the guy.
wouldn't put it down to rust - it's similar to what we've seen before this year, just even worse. not saying it's the back - just saying that he's not playing good.
#2 is gone, but would have been anyway. the question is, where will his rank be after Wimbledon? highly unlikely that it'll be a top 4.
i'd love to get more excited about Kei, but i'm afraid there's no real need to. while it's a great win for him, he's been there, done that before, nothing new or overly promising. He played solid at the end, but this was Fed falling completely apart.
