I love that girl, but I wouldn't be surprised if it's over. She's going from bad to worse. There's no spunk, no fire, no willingness to compete anymore. And when that is gone there's nothing left. She never could compete with the best players stroke for stroke, but she had a fighters heart as big as Denmark, but no more. I hope she'll get it back, but I fear the worst.

Yeah, Sloane has some problems, and I kind of feel bad for her. Serena does not owe anything to this girl. This is Tennis and it's a professional sport. Serena said in her interview before their Australian Open match that she can't be much of a mentor because she's still competing. Sloane obviously thought differently.

Wow, I don't think I have ever read something in a magazine so nasty about someone in my life. Even if that is how Sloane feels damn measure your words carefully. And she thinks Serena is disrespectful for saying, "Come on!" This was disrespectful. Serena doesn't have to be nice to anyone especially you. You are her competition why should she be. Maybe Serena distancing herself is the best thing Sloane could ask for and doesn't even realize it.

From what I read of the article, it says that her mother tried to get her to temper her words, but Sloane ignored her and was determined for the world to know the real Serena. That said Sloane is acting like a whining cry baby looking to point fingers instead of addressing her poor tennis play. Serena is becoming her scape-goat and bring up something that happened 8 years ago is petty and childish. Serena has been completely honest in her assessment of the relationship between her and Sloane. It is Sloane that has been somewhat dishonest with her feelings. She praises the WS and then insults them.

It's her personal opinion and experiences with Serena, so why is she childish to bring it up if it is true??? Just because it paints Serena in bad colour? Well too tough for Serena lovers. And what do these comments have to do with Stephens's play at the moment? Obviously something is going on, and it can't be just one person's fault. Anyway Serena is so much older, should be wiser, she is so much more successful that I don't see one single thing in which she should be threatened by Stephens.

Why is it bad mouthing when she tells a story of how she was a young child and waited for the sisters for so long to get their autographs and they just passed by ignoring them? I think my problem with it wasn't that Sloane expressed her displeasure with Serena, but the nasty tone she took with it. Even her own mom tried to get her to temper her words. When your own mom is questioning you saying something then you might want to consider it. Look we all know Serena isn't perfect. We have seen her bad side, so what Sloane says isn't surprising or shocking. For someone who isn't handling media pressure well, this article blasting Serena isn't going to help Sloane with that. However Serena is her competition so there is no being nice. We all know Serena doesn't like being denied hardware. Just because Serena doesn't bend over backwards for Sloane doesn't make Serena a horrible person. So Serena has to sign every autograph to make her a good person? Serena like everyone else has her good and bad points. Which we are privy to only a slice of her life not the big picture that is Serena. It is unfair to judge Serena when we aren't part of her life on a day to day basis to know how she is. Sloane actually comes off nastier than anything she paints Serena to be.
