Fully deserved Liga win by Atletico. It's fitting that Barcelona conceded the goal from a corner since they've been unable to defend set pieces for about 5 years now. Barca failed to create opportunities and Atletico were as defensively solid as ever, and played with such heart... Can only be happy for them.

Unfortunately it seems to have come at a price as their best two players are almost certainly going to miss the Champions League final now. They've paid the price for not closing out La Liga last week, and then they could have rested their players for this Barca match.

Seriously unfair not to be able to use two of your top players for such a huge final.

its not unfair. its stupidity, diego costa shouldn't have played, he came back too soon before and got injured and now the same thing happened yet again..about 15mins he lasted, the medical people have screwed up..or he wasn't as fit as he was claiming.

not sure about the other bloke. so maybe a bit tough on him if he misses the final.

Costa has a hamstring problem, not the kind of thing you can run off. Even more unfortunately for him is the fact that he might miss the World Cup... :nono
