Novak played great tennis. Especially the close points at the net..he has improved IMO
Yes it was a great match, closer than I thought before. Just the 3rd was significantly weaker.
Novak didn’t look good on clay so far, but yesterday and today he played much better. Good signs for FO.
But three tough matches in two days, a bit too much if you ask me.

If you're going to win titles so many times, you need to learn some of the language. His French has improved, too, and it's only polite.
Actually I think his Italian is better than his French just saying:) dosent matter it is the win that is most important.I must go back and learn Spanish again,it is woeful.

It is, by far, but at least he tries with the French. Italian is easier for the Spanish speaker. And vice/versa, so you should go back to it. :)

Agreed that his clay level has come up in the last couple of days. Had he been fresher, no one can say he might not have won today.

Commentators also expect Novak to drop out of Belgrade. EDIT: Just saw yours above, Margaret. All right, then.

He also said he lost in important moments in the match....Rafa was better in decisive moments during the match
Novak happy with his form before RG
He should be. They both made some weird choices, but they are made to press when they play each other.

BTW they should sack all the people maintaining the courts at Roma this year
It is the worst I have seen them,I have gone to this tournament many times, usually the courts are in good condition
The Center Court was like a minefield...dangerous.

My TV said he won't be surprised if we see painted lines there next year, like the other clay tournaments. That getting out the hammer and nails was a joke.
