I think this is their way of trying to get more people to buy a subscription. They know the general tennis audience would rather be watching Rafa, so they’re trying to get people to pay for it. And yes, I’m that cynical.

Actually, I often think the same thing and I agree. I actually think because Opelka is kinda boring, they can justify not putting it on TV. If it were, say, Shapo or Sinner, even, They would piss too many people off if they weren't showing them, and it would be so obvious that they were shilling for dough. But, like you, I won't fall for that. I'll just wear my lucky shirt and chat with my friends on TF.

TC is showing Nadal now, and they were talking about how he likes rhythm, etc., and how points v. Opelka are pretty short. Given what the schedule is like today, and how much tennis his opponent in the finals is going to have played, (Nadal serving for the match now,) a quick match where he's pressed to serve well is a good workout.
