38% first serves in for Dolgo is muck and he still won the set. That can surely only improve in set 2 which is good news for him.

He broke Rafa 3 times...that helps when your serve is sucking.

Sure does!

If Dolgo doesn't want to continue in tennis he can get an alternate job in Cirque du Soleil with some of those crazy body contortions just to win a point. He plays some low percentage tennis doesn't he;)

True...Dolgo's first serve motion is a hip surgery waiting to happen.

Dog better up his serve %. Don't want to give Nadal too many looks at 2nd serves. At some point he will break.

Rafa needs Paul Annacone in his corner, giving the same advice he gave to Pete: remember, you're Rafa - and he's not! Giving control of these rallies to a flakey guy like Dolgo... :nono

^ In fairness there aren't many players out there as unorthodox as Dolgo and you can't train and prepare for the unexpected. Seems even Dolgo himself doesn't know what's coming next.

We have identical scores right now between this match and a women's match

It seems like his strategy of mediocre, consistentishness is working for this set.:nono

English streams again aren't working here tonight and I'm in the unfortunate position of having to listen 2 of the most biased Spanish commentators you could ever imagine. Is Robbie Koenig commentating on English streams/channels?
