Unlucky mate ! Cibulkova was so close to win this one. 5-2 up in the third, I really thought she would take the win.

On the betting side, 0/2 for you, -20$. Balance is 99.7$ not bad.
For me : +13.8-10=+3.8$. Balance is 88.5$. Coming back slowly :)

Yeah, I can't believe she blew that third set, Aga reeled off 5 in a row to take it 7-5.

Ok, because the odds are so favourable, I'll take $5 on Zhang. I don't think she wins, but she could be awkward and the odds are too good to ignore.
$10 on Bencic too.

I'll put $10 on Konta, $5 on McHale and $5 on Rybarikova. (Why not?)

I'll take some credit for my Rybarikova pick. I knew Bencic had been having some troubles, and Ribi had been higher rated than she is and was undervalued. I did a little homework and took a chance on the odds.

Round #4 / Day #7

Gibbs - Kvitova (2.20 / 1.64)
Radwanska - Jankovic (1.39 / 2.92)
Strycova - Halep (2.95 / 1.38)
Pliskova- Konta (1.7 / 2.11)
Williams - Bondarenko (1.03 / 11.12)
Azarenka - Stosur (1.18 / 4.68)
Kasatkina - Bacsinsczky (2.1 / 1.7)
Rybarikova - Vinci (2.97 / 1.38)

I will bet 10$ on Kvitova, 10$ on Pliskova, 5$ on Rybarikova and 5$ on Kasatkina.
Interesting facts :
Kvitova leads 2-0 against Gibbs / Pliskova 3-0 against Konta / Rybarikova 3-1 against Vinci
Vinci's best result at Indian Wells is 4th Round
It will be the 13th match of Gibbs in 17 days (Monterrey qualifs + main draw + Indian Wells qualifs + main draw)
Bacsinszky fell badly on the court against Bouchard scratching her wrist, elbow and knee. Maybe it could disturb her in her recovery and preparation

OK, I'll stick $3 on Stosur, not that I think she'll win, but she's capable of it if she blows hot.

I hate betting on Petra, she's so random... but I'll stick $15 bucks her way.

I'm going with Gibbs, as she's on a roll, so I'll put $10 on her. And I'll stick with Rybarikova for $5. And I'll put $2 on Jankovic, because I like her.

Wait, a retirement is counted as a loss, in tennis. In betting, if a player retires, does that nullify the bet? I see you in my rearview mirror, and I won't give this one up without at least an explanation. ::sw1::

Each bookmaker has his own rule. Some say the bet is void, some say the bet is taken into account if at least one set is completed. For our competition I decided to cancel all bets on matches that are not completed. That's arbitrary, but a rule has to be set. I feel it is fair when your bet decision is taken assuming that both players would be fit for the game.
Actually, I would have won two more bets if the rule was different, I am not trying to pull you down :)

I didn't think you were trying to pull me down. Just getting to the rules. OK, I'm cool. I'll kick your ass, anyway. :) Game on!
