Watching Thiem play, I can imagine him being a multi-RG winner, but that take back on his strokes is so busy. It surely has to be a problem against the top guys on the faster courts. Backhand is a joy to watch though

Shapo eliminated by Pablo Cuevas. Was expecting Shapo to win that match, considering Cuevas is a dirty player.

Verdasco wins the first set v. Dimitrov. Question is, I guess, who chokes?

Fognini out to the likewise unpredictable Chardy. I think the last option for Fed not getting to the SFs is out. That would assure his keeping the #1.

And Verdasco serves for it in the 3rd. Can Fernando pull it off?

EDIT: He does! Verdasco can be a heavy-weight when it's clicking for him. But I think Dimitrov will only ever be a middle-weight.

And...once again we see Dimitrov talk big before a tournament and go out in the first round. He couldn't even defend 45 points so the likelihood of him repeating at Cincy and the Tour Finals is slim, none and are you kidding....

I just saw the score about 10 minutes ago. The last time I saw the score he was up a set.

Both Dimitrov and Fognini are head cases who will never fulfill expectations.

We are two... but I am quite sleepy. Played five sets myself today. Hope Fedex breaks some record today.

Is there a record to be broken today?

Quickest match ever (without a withdraw), so I can go to sleep.

Let me remind you that Fed has never ever won against Delbonis, even though they have played each other.

I just want him to win, one way or other. I am not worried though as Delbonis won in 2013 a bad year for Fed.

1-0 H2H in favor of Del Bonis, but it was in 2013, which was a really bad year for Roger.
