Awesome win for Tomic. Maybe he is finally turning a corner? Ferru's second loss on the year.

I am convinced he has turned the corner.
Quietly, under the radar, his results are improving slowly. With Kyrgios in the spotlight, people did not paid attention.
Since January, he moved up in ranking from 56 to 35.
Now he will be back where he was after his 2011 break out, in the top 30.

Positive game from Tomic to close it out. I wish he always played like that last game.

Maybe your wish will come true. I think the Aussie youngsters will push each other and all of them will benefit in the end from this more competitive field.

Sad to see Ferrer knocked out. Thought he would keep his hot streak going a bit longer but this is the norm for him I think. Also, Isner keeps American hopes alive!

What a weird looking, whipping lefty forehand R-V has. And Novak just chunks away his first service game.

Slow start from Novak, but I won't be staying up late to see an upset.

I would say that other than Roland Garros, this is probably Nadal's favorite tournament. Yes, there are other Clay tournaments that he likes but this tournament brings him positive energy and etc...I mean often plays well in both singles and doubles in this tournament. The next opponents for Carreno Busta/Nadal team is the 2015 Australian Open doubles champions Bolleli/Fognini. It will be interesting if the Carreno Busta/Nadal team can continue their run.

In addition, congrats to both young Aussies Kokkinakis and Tomic for winning their respective matches. Now, they face each other next round for the right to go their first ever ATP Masters 1000 quarterfinals. It will be an interesting match up that's for sure.

BTW Kokkinakis is the first 18 year old through to the fourth round at Indian Wells since Ryan Harrison in 2011.

RG is not his favorite tournament. They don't like him over there.

I remember him saying that Monaco is his favorite tournament after Novak beat him there, IW might be second indeed.

They like him there more and more. For years they wanted a French champion but later they have learned to love him after to see that he is the best clay player of the history, his brillant game, to see if they like him or not doesn't affect his game at all like other players who become crazy when the crowd don't like them.
Miami is other of his favorite tournaments even that for one reason or another he doesn't have that title under his belt

Berdych playing solid and leads Johnson 6-4, 5-2. One more game and he will be into the 4th round where it looks like he'll play Rosol.

And he does it! 4 and 2! Berdych has been really solid this year. A QF with Federer will be another good gauge to see where he is right now.
