Bad news: TV commentary says that JMDP has withdrawn from doubles. The struggles to comeback continue.

Cilic has also withdrawn from the doubles

Replaced by Lukas Rosol/Santiago Giraldo...From SI Twitter.

Neither ready for the comeback, apparently. :(

What the heck happened? I step out to grill some sausage and this has been going on?

I told you; the 2nd and 3rd tier players just don't know how to finish! Dodig should have beaten Ferrer last night and gave his match away as well! Just gutless IMO! :nono :cover :puzzled

I don't see how this has anything to do with Dimitrov/Kyrgios. Nick is no 2nd/3rd tier player, and, after rolling his ankle, he tried to gut it out.

As to Dodig, I don't know how you can say he "should" have beaten Ferrer last night. He's barely top 100, while Ferrer is a perennial top 10. The result was the expected. Dodig had a look, that's all.

But Haase stepped up vs. Wawrinka and didn't shrink from it, so that should make you happy.

Hmmm, I thought this was a free country and I could see anything the way I liked! As for Dodig, he took Nadal out a few years ago during the summer before the USO and Nadal was up in his match! He allowed Dodig to come all the way back and win in a 3rd set TB! As for Kyrios, that's exactly what he is; barely in the top 50 and has a ways to go to achieve top 10 status! :dodgy: :p What else you got? :s :puzzled

ballkids still put umbrella up even tho all the sun gone.

Light cloud cover in the desert and 90 degrees? This isn't England. The umbrellas are still probably useful. ;)

The tatted Kuze is at 5-5 in the first set against Stephens. Sadly, TC will probably stick with this match til the set is decided. :(

I expected so much more from her; esp. being mentored by Navratilova back when she was a teenager! :nono :puzzled  :cover

Roger could not get it done in under an hour. The official match time is 1 hr and 2 mins.

Next up, revenge match against Mr. Seppi who was gracious enough to send Fed on a
much needed vacation.
