Roddick is good with words, funny presser that one. Too bad he tried to physically attack Djokovic afterwards.

I hope he joins the commentary box at some point. Or get's a feature on a website or in a magazine or something.

For me this was one of the best Roddick post match press conferences.

I still don't know what that was all about! Was he just PO'd he lost to Nole with a lot of ailments? He's a jerk and I hope he leaves the stage permanently! Roddick is a throwback, which is why he didn't last longer at the top! These days you need more than a serve to compete! That "slash and burn" play blew it for him at his last Wimbledon possibility; missing that easy high volley at the net against Roger! He should feel fortunate having enough to win one USO! That's more than he deserved; I thought anyway!

He did have more than just a serve. His forehand was a total beast in his prime and because that shot was lacking later in his career his results dropped off. But he had a very powerful FH in his early years on tour. Also, one bad shot has lost matches for many players besides Roddick. That overhead miss didn't help Federer much against Gulbis. The overhead touching the net incident by Djokovic at RG last year, Rafa's narrowly missed BH DTL at 30-15 5th set at the AO '2012 while leading 4-2. The list is endless. While these botched shots didn't lose the matches they certainly didn't help either. Roddick is hardly the only guy EVER to miss a routine shot! Cut the guy a bit of slack.

I think the message here is more Roddick's personality being missed than his tennis playing being missed. I don't miss his playing a bit (other than that bright and shinning moment back in 2003), but he did have a way about him that handled the press well. And even the press didn't seem to mind!

I miss Kohli smacking 100 + winners in a match to beat Andy Roddick at the Australian Open in 2008

I miss Andy's press conferences the most....I wasnt a fan of his game.

Still to me Marat Safin is still the King of Press Conferences and Quotes.......

^^ I don't think I ever heard any of Safin Press Conferences and Quotes probably because of the different nationalities involved.

^ I'd like to punch the Wimbledon officials down low for slowing down the courts for someone else.

.................;)

I think it was ridiculous that they changed the condition of those courts! They went out of their way to accommodate baseliners; MADNESS! That didn't stop BORG from winning in his era, but these big babies whined and whined until a change was made several years ago! That's what made the tourney special like the FO, specialist could excel; now we're getting the same top 4 for the most part year in and year out! It's just unwatchable at times; esp. the men with Rafa and Nole ruling things! I don't mind them winning, but "EVERYTHING?" Outrageous! :puzzled :s

I had to look up to see if he had married that gorgeous brunette model from a few years ago! His "intended" is a musician and blond; Nastya Osipova!

since when do you decide what Roddick deserved? he is still one in a million talent and is more successful than you can ever be, so a bit more respect yeah?

and you bet, someone with only a serve does not get into Major finals time after time. what a ridiculous statement!

The funny part of the interview was the way Novak went out and kicked his arse after Andy spewed that line of crap. Andy was a one slam wonder, a consistent top ten player without the tools, brains, or fortitude to win the biggest matches.

I miss Gaston Gaudio more.
