Guys no need to get that personal. Let’s stick with anonymously warring words on tennis.

I lost hope ages ago, but it will be kind of interesting to see someone else going through the same process.

Federberg, until you understand the Ad Hominem Fallacy, you will continue to resort to personal insults every time you face disagreement.

Six months off the tour didn’t heal his elbow. Djoke should resort to surgery. If that fails, he is done competing for major titles. He can’t expect to have the longevity of Fed who refuses to get into long rallies again and again.

"I'll just stick to tennis." If that is the case, I'm all for it. Just quit with the personal attacks.

Lol! It’s clear every time I disagree with you you think it’s personal. That’s for you to deal with not me

Federberg, every time we disagree you resort to personal insults. And of course it isn't just me, as Nekro pointed out. I've observed you doing this with several posters. It is like you reach a point of frustration and you can't help yourself. I mean anyone who disagrees with you must be a total moron, right?

Lol! Using Nekro to support your thesis? Wow....

So you’re really going with I personally insulted you? Good grief

He should have taken wrist technique lessons from Roger before his epic wankathon adventure :p

It's a convenient excuse that people trot out about Mac, but the fact is it was racquet technology that did him in. When the move was made from wood to graphite he was unable to cope with the power game. It just so happened that the other things happened coincidentally

I concur about McEnroe but it didn't help that he decided to take a year off just when the game was changing. After he came back the game had passed him by - literally and figuratively. Lendl and his power game were already on McEnroe's tail when he took his sabbatical but a year later EVERYBODY was hitting as hard as Lendl and playing with bigger rackets and synthetic strings...minus the sawdust. It's adapt or die, right? Would McEnroe have been better off changing rackets and soldiering on? I actually don't think so because he wasn't exactly a physical specimen and didn't have much power even after he changed rackets.

Er...maybe she hit him in his elbow with a racket on her way out of the door for Me Time? Or...here's a novel idea...maybe he practiced 5 hours a day and then played too many 3-5 hour matches for 16 years straight? Nahhhhh...that couldn't be it...

Or maybe he had to sleep downstairs for 6 months, wasn't getting any. All that extra stress on the elbows might have been the straw to break the camels back :lol6:

Just gossip rumour as far as I'm aware. As I understand it, Novak used to be quite the player before he got married. Probably just malicious nonsense to be honest

It was meant to be a joke, not a serious remark.
