Here is an event that %95 of the world does not even know it exists, but pretty much brings life to a halt in Canada: The World Junior Hockey Championship final, between Canada and Russia.

The Blackhawks are really a group that can be a great championship team again. Cory Crawford gave up 3 goals in the 1st period, Coach Q pulls him and the Hawks score 3 goals in the 2nd and win 4-3 in the 2nd OT. The rookie goaltender Darling saved over 40 plus shots and didn't allow a goal. What a relief goalie he was. Barry Melrose, ESPN Hockey expert thinks that Coach Q should stick with the hot goalie Darling. Coach Q decided to start Crawford in game 2. Interesting..

Blackhawks completely outplay the Ducks in a Do or Die WCF game 7 on Sat night. They were down 3-2. They won game 6 at home and then went on the road to Anaheim. They scored 2 goals in the first period, one in the second period and 2 in the final period. They dominated the Ducks. Now they are heading to the Stanley Cup finals to play the Tampa Bay Lightning. :clap

Game 1 starts on Wed.

This will be a tough series as both these teams are evenly matched, but I'll take the Hawks in 6.

Hawks go into enemy territory and steal game 1. Tampa even has some silly ordinance that states you can't wear an opposing team's jersey in certain sections of their stadium, what! :nono

Thanks KS and Congrats it was a truly remarkable series, tonight was the first time that either team had a 2 goal lead for the entire series, I will be there for the parade, will it be on Wednesday I hope although I will be downtown for work on Thursday. No worries, :hug:celeb:

For sure. And don't forget, they lost game 7 of WCF against the Kings last year in OT. We really could be talking about 4 cups in 5 years.
