Serena is fine but what about Vika? Or Sara?

Without early preparation and match play, they don't have much of a shot.

Vika made the semi's of Wimbledon last year, and gave Serena a battle in the semi's, so, she doesn't need a warm-up tourney to have a shot. Errani on the other hand maybe could use a warm up.

A few of Serena's matches I've enjoyed the most at Wimbledon were in the semis: Azarenka, Zheng, and especially Dementieva -- the best match of that entire tournament, IMO, and I'm including both men and women. (She also played a thrilling match against Li Na in a SF, but that was in Australia. I just remembered it when thinking about semis.)

Two of the best matches she'd played at the AELTC came against Kvitova. Once before Petra won the title and last year in the QF. Both matches were straight sets, but they were close and the first one opened the door to Petra's game and she came back in 2011 and won the event.

Somehow, I had the notion that it was different surface last year, my BAD!

Vika was #1 last year and playing like it, this year? I don't know!

Sara?
As good and as improved that she is this year, I doubt she has a shot on grass, she knows it too, pulling out of...

I wouldn't be surprised if Masha or Serena fall early, this is WTA after-all!

Serena has the best shot, for obvious reasons.

Sharapova was #1 last year at Wimbledon.

How often do the top 3 fall early? Between them they have 3 losses to players that weren't each other since Tokyo. That is incredible consistency, even the ATP top 4 don't boast such dominance over the rest of the field.

Vika was number 2 last year at this time, and she made the semi's of the French on her worst surface....progress!

Also, Serena, Maria and Vika are ALWAYS in the final four of the big events, tour events as well. So, the statement, "I wouldn't be surprised if Masha or Serena fall early, this is WTA after-all," doesn't really hold try anymore. Maybe two years ago the top three weren't reliable to make the semi's day in and day out, but, over the last year or so, that hasn't been the case.

Serena is already training with her fitness coach and has never lost early at Wimbledon except 2005 when she was out of form and nursing an ankle injury.I think Wimbledon is good for her because the points are shorter and she didnt expend a lot at RG13.Maria on the other hand has always struggled somewhat at Wimbledon after 05 and is more at risk of losing early to anyone..
Serena will not lose early...:nonoKui your loved one pova is at risk of being bounced early.:snigger
