We will surely remember him when Rafa draws him in the opening round at W'18.
:lulz2: He'll have to make it through Q, though. He's 32, now, btw. I guess he's been injured? Or just crap, maybe.

Many older players have fallen through big time, who knows if they were injured or not. I cannot keep track of all of them LOL
Bellucci is another one.

With his current ranking, he does not even get into the qualifying draw. He may need (and may be given) a wild card into the qualifying draw. Also, it is possible that he may improve his ranking high enough to get into the qualifying draw by the time Wimbledon rolls around.

All of that sounds like wishful drinking. He had his moment in the sun and didn't do enough with it. I think he's done. To ol' Kieran's credit, he always said people bandwagoned Rosil for no reason. In the end, it seems, he was vindicated.

No, you are misquoting Kieran. Actually, after the first win at Wimbledon, people that it was one off. But, he proved himself by giving a good fight to Rafa the second time they played in Wimbledon. I had pointed this out and Kieran has agreed that Rosol always brings good game to Rafa.

Maybe so. I'll ask him. But I do think he resisted people bandwagoning him in general, and Rosil did turn out to be a damp squib, overall.

Fucsovics beats Stan 6-4, 6-0.
Great event for Marci, not so good for Stan.

Match of his career for Fucsovic. He was behind in the first set. Very steady. Gojo d. Seppi. I like Seppi's tennis, but he's got a lightweight's head. Stevie Johnson still in.

Stan isn't at his best, he could slip on ranking after RG, he has a ton of pts to defend in Paris

If he is eliminated in the first week, be could drop out of the top 200.
So that is more than a slip, would be a free fall.

Fucsovics downs Johnson on 3 sets.

So there will be another ATP title awarded for a first winner.
