No question about that. Roger's relevant in the sense that he could win a major, specifically Wimbledon, and it wouldn't be a huge shock. But by "very relevant" I meant that he would be in the mix for the top player in the sport and likely would be a big contender at more than just 1 slam. Roger can still win a big one but at this point it is unexpected and realistically Nole and Rafa are a lot better than him. And my point is they wouldn't be if conditions hadn't been slowed down for much of the calendar. That's why I think it is out there to suggest the homogenization (ie the slowing of the surfaces) has helped Roger. BS' point is that it may have made him a better all around player and that's debatable, but what's not debatable is that Roger prefers fast surfaces with a low bounce and the guys currently better than him like slow-medium and one lives off the high bounce...it plays a lot more to their liking.
