Qualifier Paul Henri Mathieu makes the SF dfeating today Delbonis in 3 sets:

6-3, 0-6, 6-3.
Strange result, but good for the veteran

Is he as old as Federer ??

Almost the same. 5 months younger.

Thiem vs. Kohlschreiber will be interesting. Thiem is two wins away from a hat trick. When is the last time a player outside of the Top 20 won three straight tournaments? He's now projected to go up to No. 17 in the rankings. It will also be interesting to see how he does on the hard courts in Canada, Cincy and NY.

RE: Generali Open - Kitzbühel

It's No. 6 seed and WR No. 39 Philipp Kohlschreiber vs. Qualifier and WR No. 109 Paul-Henri Matheiu. This will be their fifth meeting. Kohlschreiber leags the H2H 3-1. They have met two times this year as well and Kohlschreiber has won both. Their last meeting was a close one, with Kohl winning in three sets in Montpellier. Mathieu last beat Kohl in their first meeting back in 2003.

This will be Kohlschreiber's 13th ATP final and first since Munich back in May against Andy Murray. He is going for his 6th tour title and first since 2014 Dusseldorf. If he wins, he will move up to about No. 29 in next week's rankings.

Paul-Henri Mathieu is in his first ATP final since 2009. This is his 9th tour final. He will be going for his third tour title and first since Gstaad 2007. By reaching the final, his ranking is up to around No. 78 next week. If he wins, he will move up to around No. 68.
