Flavia v Garbine is my pick of the matches tomorrow.
^And who wins it?

I like to remind everyone that the previous winners of this event, namely Ana(2010-2011) and Simona(2013), made the WTA finals this year.
This could be a good experience for those attempting to make the move into top 10

My dear Flavia is in a slump at present,I blame Fognini.I wish she would see sense and drop him ASAP

I will stick with Flavia.....Bella Flavia.

Round Robin Standings: after Wednesdays matches

Serdika Group
Ranking - seeding - matches W-L - sets W-L
#15 s3 Flavia Pennetta 1-0 2-0
#23 s7 Garbine Muguruza 1-0 2-0
#11 s1 Ekaterina Makarova 0-1 0-2

#18 s5 Carla Suarez Navarro 1-1 2-2
#17 s4 Andrea Petkovic 1-1 2-2
#41 s8 Tsvetana Pironkova 0-2 0-4

Here is the final explanation of the group names

Serdica (Bulgarian: Сердика) is a district located in the center of the capital Sofia and is also one of the ancient names of Sofia. The name was related to the local Celtic tribe of the Serdi. The name was last used in the 19th century in a Bulgarian text.
Sredets (Bulgarian: Средец) Another of Sofia's names, Triaditsa (Τριάδιτζα or Τριαδίτσα), was mentioned in Greek medieval sources. The Bulgarian name Sredets (СРѢДЄЦЪ), which is related to среда sreda (middle), first appeared in the 11th-century Vision of Daniel and was widely used in the Middle Ages.

Taken from Wiki. So after a little research It's 2 of Sofia's former names - nice I think

Fognini is a goof, why does Flavia continue to pursue such an idiot?? She seems to make poor choices when it comes to male companions. I will pick her too, fashionista just for sentimental value.

Crucial match for Makarova, another loss and her chances are almost eliminated.
Same for Alize Cornet...
Maka is the top seed.

That is too bad. Must have come down to efficiency. I was hoping PR will finally get a break and finish the year end in a high note.
