I think it would be in the best interests of women's tennis, if WTA gets rid of this event.
Having this kind of events devalues WTAF and the whole business.

Try to mail your suggestions to WTA. In respect of our tennisplayers in second row I'll continue covering this event - I think they deserve it.

Who is that w/ Petko?

It's Pironkova - luvly lady ;)

And Tossip - Dubai is not an international tournament, that's why Venus is not there.

^Is this a player in the tourney? I think I've identified everyone in the initial picture but this person next to Petkovic isn't in that initial pic, I don't think.

On another note, KSK just got back from Chi-Town! It was for work but it was great:)

I'm glad you had fun. I was in Tampa and just got back Sun. You have to let me know the next time you come. We can do lunch if you are working downtown.

^I was downtown. I'm pretty sure my next time will be in the spring. The window for Chicago trips is fast closing with your winter. I feel like only locals can handle Chicago winter

Domi wasted 4 match points, Piro evens the second set tie breaker 6-6 only to lose it on her serve 8-6
Domi has the first win in Sofia.

I am interested to see how Petko performs in this tournament, she has been struggling with a niggling wrist injury, also she will be representing Germany in the Fed Cup final against Czech.
