Just giving a bump to this thread which was created about four years ago. See the top 10 items placed in Fed's bucket list at that time. He has actually crossed off three items namely 3, 4 and 10. At this time, 1,2,6,7 and 8 look impossible. 5 and 9 are still possible.

Interestingly, I did not even place beating Connor's record in titles and Connor's record in matches won in that list claiming that they are impossible. Actually, both of them look quite feasible now.

Fed's realistic bucket list should be a record 6th at USO and then Connors titles record and overall wins. But #1 on bucket list is to finish with more slams than Nadal..period. His career will be disappointing if he doesn't.

I will dump this thread and create a new one with similar theme at the end of this year.

Fed is currently tied with Novak for most AO titles. Fed is currently tied with Connors and Pete for most USO titles in open era. If he can win one more AO and one more USO, both will change from tie to sole possession. These two should definitely be on his bucket list now.

If that happens, then Fed would be owning three majors while Ralph would be owning dirt.

The AO will be all time record, not just open era. However, the USO will be just open era record. If he wants all time record, he needs to win 8 of them in total and it is safe to say that is not going to happen.

6th USO, 6 YE#1(probably gone forever now), 7th WTF. All three could've happened last year if he had scheduled sensibly. You would think that for a guy like fraud that was the easy part. But since he laid such a giant egg after Wimbledon, all three went down the drain.

The 7th WTF screwjob is the worst I've seen in tennis. Couldn't beat Muffin after winning the first set. Just LOL

All these screwups from Fred is the reason why he's not enjoying his retirement stretch. The last few years before retirement are supposed to feel like a holiday. Just enjoy yourself and maybe play some new tournament, see some new places, enjoy new cultures.

But no, that does not apply to fraud. He has to make a mountain out of a molehill. Give his family and fans needless heartache. I mean can you imagine dull or faker screwing up a WTF SF match against their lapdog specially after winning the first set?

I mean Muffin is a weaponless clown. He presents literally zero threat to Fed. But ofcourse fraud likes to invent new ways to fuck things up as if his life isn't interesting enough. It is a curse to be a Fed fan I tell you. I regret ever being this mental midget's fan. Wish I had quit tennis after Pete retired at USO 2002, atleast tennis in the 90s was fun, every player offered something different, something new.

So true. Finish with more slams than Nadal or it goes from bucket list to a bucket of shit.

do you really think he's able to win one more USO ??? I have serious doubt about it

I don't think he will but it's far from impossible. He should still win at least one more Wimbledon and AO at minimum to keep it safe from the drab hands of Nadal.

it'll be harder and harder, he's not young at all (for a tennis player of course)

I'd rather be a talented geezer than an average youngster and that's the way the field is now. It gives opportunities to the old guard.

Exactly. I hope Roger doesn't retire until loses somewhere to Verdasco :)

Know how many slams he's won since then? 9. Maybe he should have retired from the shame of losing to Canas, who incidentally was banned for doping before that comeback. Not like it's the only doper he's ever lost to either.

losing to Canas wasn't very glorious nevertheless
