Huge shout out to Czech Player Karolina Pliskova ( one of my fav younger players on the WTA tour),won her singles rubber,then teamed up with Strycova to win in the deciding doubles.Czech Republic will play Switzerland in the s/finals in April.

Pliskova and Strycova also won the decisive doubles rubber in the 2015 Fed Cup Final.

You are right, Hantuchova and Cepelova were able to play on high level just in 1st set .. then Australia has no problems .. Stosur - Slovakia 3-2

I think that semifinal Switzerland - Czech would be fantastic. There will be two potential future no. 1 players: Pliskova and Bencic. Then we will see Kvitova, who still can play fine tennis and as a sweet bonus Hingis in doubles ..
