Arias has always been against the sisters, you should hear him during a Tiafoe or Auger match. He seems to be critical of these players. He is criticizing someone who is forty yrs old.tsk tsk

One must be on cloud nine, playing with a legend.Jabeur seems to be a lot of fun unlike that non slam winner Karolina

Well I am glad they won. I am happy Serena chose doubles to start her journey back. It’s a lot more forgiving, and she wouldn’t be hit nearly as hard by the media. Her first singles match at Wimbledon is going to be rough with all the media focus and pressure she will probably feel.

Well that was fun to watch. First set a tryout second set we can do it and the match tiebreak great to watch - nice doubles couple - stick to that

Serena: We had a lot of fun. Our opponents played amazing! We were just trying to stay in there. Ons: It was so mcuh fun. I was little bit nervous, playing with such a legend. Even when I made mistakes on court she was supporting me. Serena: I got you.

Yes, she's a step and half behind the ball right now. I anticipate as she plays more, she'll pick up the footwork and narrow that gap to just a step behind.
Well it was good to see on the court again and it may have been the first time I saw her smiling.. Serena was good at the net and her footwork moving laterally wasn't horrible. The serve looks decent and it should come back to her..Ons was nervous on the big points which is understandable. I would have chosen Coco who is a beast currently to cover for Serena court positioning. Good win.

Serena Williams to lose in her first match at Wimbledon seems a good bet going by that...
Might well retire after that or possibly she'll play at home at the USO and say bye there I guess. Last Wimbledon anyway I reckon. Quite a sad display. Overweight, slow and unfit clearly. Not being harsh, just realistic. She'll get eaten alive by younger, faster players.

I don't know about that, but I do think Arias is kind of a jerk. People complain about a lot of commies around here, but I could do without him.

Stop Sucking Up...leave that for Don Fabio
Did Don Fabio deserve that? Or did I? I've been AP's buddy forever. He could do with reminding once in a while. He's got a persecution complex these days. :lulz1:

Did I miss it, or did anyone explain the black markings on Serena's face?
