The crazy and at the same time funny thing is that how many times I've read for two years from Federer's fans that Nadal was done and now they think that we commit the same sin with others players.......

Any Fed fans who have called Nadal done have been hoping for it, not knowing. Anyone who calls any of these guys totally out is trolling. I'll admit I thought Roger was finished winning Majors, but see how that worked out. If you want to excuse calling people "done" because others do it, go ahead, then live with yourself. Otherwise, it wouldn't cost you to actually discuss Novak's current state, and not just imply bad things about it. Wanna try that?

Tignor has claimed that Chris Evert is the greatest player on clay in a well argued recent article. The most important point that most of us missed is that she actually has won 10 clay slams, though not all at RG (three of them were at USO when USO was played on clay). Also, she missed RG three times (in which she could have easily won RG) due to her activities in Team Tennis.

Of course Rafa is not done and things could change. But, as of now I would have to agree with him Chrissy is the best player on clay.

I am still chuckling that you and Front are so willing suddenly to put a woman up over a man in tennis, because it lowers Nadal a tiny peg, but OK, I'll use it against you later. :lulz2:

I personally am of the opinion that men'w and women's tennis are not comparable. The whole issue started when Carole said Rafa is the best clay court tennis player ever. If she has said, Rafa is the best male clay court tennis player ever, nobody would have bothered to argue.

p.s. But, in her defense, Carole probably meant that only, but one can only go by what she writes.

Well maybe not you, then, but Front was very game to make the case for Chris Evert, and that does make me laugh, given his general position on women in tennis. But still, you brought in Tignor's article with no caveats, and claimed that Evert is the greatest on clay, to date. So I will hold you to that.

Darth hasn't officially accepted that Rafa won 2008 Wimbledon or JMDP deserved to win USO 09 over Roger
