That's the #22 player in the world, the second top Romanian player. She has her team behind her.
Sorana is her name.
Isn't she cute?

Oh yes, She is indeed cute. I always had a crush on her.

One time she even created controversy in Wimbledon. The organizers put her
on centre court because she is cute while all other big name players were playing
on the side courts. The organizers even openly told that they do consider cuteness
as one among various factors in their scheduling decisions.

You will learn a lot about Maria at the end of this month. She's scheduled to play a bunch of exhbitions in South America I think. If she starts withdrawing, it would put her participation in Australia in some doubt.

There's no real information coming out of her camp atm.

Well looks as if she played Anna in Bogota and was beaten.

Certainly a wise decision, as they both speak English and French fluently and with the improvement shown with Nathalie helping Eugenie Bouchard, it will help Alex elevate her game, back where it should be.

Nadia Petrova has withdrawn from the AO 2014.Nadia had already withdrew from Auckland and Hobart tournaments a few days ago.I suspect this may have something to do with the death of her mother recently.
