Apparently his eyes were bothering him? Odd. But not an injury.

That sucks, would have been good to test the ground with Kyrgios in the final.

I was looking forward to that potential final, too. Apparently, it was an eye infection, compounded by allergies. Just a freak thing, but I don't wonder him stopping, since he wears contacts...could scratch the cornea. And you can't play if you can't really see. It's a shame that the crowd was so rude about it. :finger:

They were? What for?

I was so worried at work as I could only see the scores and then later on I read that it was his eyes. It is really unfortunate and he posted a message on his Facebook that both eyes are infected and him wearing contacts while he plays doesn't help. It started a few days ago. Why did he even start the match I don't know. Anyway hopefully the infection will be taken care of swiftly.

Congratulations to all semi finalists, I am happy for Marcos, got to see 1st set before I left for work.

Dimitrov and Thiem are playing now. Grigor in danger of going down two breaks and 0-3 if he doesn't hold his serve here.

Marcos has played well all week. I'll take him over Feliciano. The Kyrgios/Stan match is tough to call. I think Stan will take it but rooting for NK.

Rooting for NK? I am not your friend anymore.
