Wow. Day two: Moxie takes over tented's spot and leads the entire field of 13008 contestants. Great job! I feel that I have better chances running over a minefield than getting my picks right. But its a bit unfair we dont get to pick the right qualifyers. I would have definetly given Gulbis the win today...

Exactly. Had I known about Gulbis, I would never have picked Nieminen.

Tented.. that is a very good point, the qualifyers identities( if possible) needs to be revealed prior to our eligiblity to make the picks

Sometimes they do let us know, but more often they don't, so it's a lot of uninformed picking. A few times the first rounds have had two qualifiers playing each other, so it's a completely blind choice. Very annoying.

Thanks for pointing that out, so I can have my brief moment to crow! (I saw I was in #1 spot overall, and there are only 22 people at #1 right now. That has to be my record. But that will all fall apart tomorrow, for sure.)

But it's not too much cleverness on my part. This time I randomly decided to pick some unidentified qualifiers, just for fun. It happened to work out for me.

Sadly, yes. Sorry, ftan. But do stay tuned! There'll be one for RG. (Confusingly, you should note that it's not run by ATP, but Tennis Channel. (Slams are not ATP events.) But we'll post up as early as we can to warn folks.

The next one connected to this ATP challenge probably won't be until Cincy or Canada, whichever comes first. Rule-of-thumb: after the draw comes out, you'll have only a day or two to make picks, so keep that in mind. You can pick through the qualifying rounds, but once the main draw starts playing, (usually a Sunday,) the draw challenge closes.

Keep an eye out for the RG one! :)

Thanks Moxie.. I figured I was too late 'coz the main draw has started. But will definitely be in for RG :)

Excellent, ftan! Eventually we'll rope everyone in and make a real group out of it. Thanks for being game.

It won't last much longer, but I have to point out that I'm currently 12th out of 13,008!

Dude,, that is awesome

Thanks! I'm now in 10th place. It won't last, though, because the bottom half of my draw is all red.

I think everybody's is though so that could help you stay afloat. I picked a delpo/novak final!
