So it means that the second week the surface become all mangled and playing more like clay......ahhhh

You do learn, eventually. With only a small percentage of professionals playing serve and volley tennis, the grass gets worn down even more quickly these days. By the second week there's a large swath of court that's almost completely denuded. While it may not play "more" like clay, it certainly plays less like grass since there isn't any there....

I know it a long time ago but then you should pick up your mind because according to Front242 the second week the surface become all mangles and more like clay and you agree.......:D

Rafa about Carreno: "He is my friend, he is playing with high potential, it's going to to be a tough opener in Doha"

There is a string of upsets happening in this event.
Beside the mentioned Feli Lopez elimination yesterday, also Kyle Edmund defeated Martin Klizan.
Today they continued:
Paul Henri Mathieu defeated Albert Ramos
Berankis defeated Seppi and the biggest of all
Ilya Marchenko defeated David Ferrer.

He agreed because it's true. What exactly is clay ? Basically like mud right? Now, what do you have left when the grass is gone at the baseline at the second week of Wimbledon? Big patches of extremely rock hard (if it's sunny) earth/mud. That is why it plays more like clay because the ball is no longer bouncing on grass but hard earth/mud. I'm no fan of Nadal as you know but I'm not talking crap either. Forget that a non Nadal fan is discussing this and think more logically about what grass looks like when there is no longer any grass. Mud/earth is basically clay and this is why it bounces so dramatically differently in week two and Nadal suddenly starts to play much better. And no, it wasn't a silly comment, he is not good on grass anymore and it's quite embarrassing that you consider my logical comment silly but have then written this gem:

"Now tell me, since when the grass is all mangled and plays more like clay ? maybe since 2008 or maybe sinc 2011?"

Um, you realize that grass has been like this for millions of years and not just since 2008 or 2011 ? :cover It gets worn away and all that's left is mud/earth. Have a look at some grass sometime. This isn't rocket science or some bizarre new process of grass getting worn away :nono

Nadal most of the times starts slow on GRASS, clay and HC until comes into play and steps on the accelerator, he used to do that before and he still does. And it seems that he is not the only one playing well on the big patches or earth/mud, others can win on that kind of "bad" surface too for many years....
But to each his own theme......

Carreno, 24 years old, aggressive game and if he improves a little more he could be someone, remember my words

Here is the Highlights of the match

Verdasco v. Djokovic

Nando was hitting pretty clean shots the first couple games, and then wins only one point the next two. 3-1 Novak

Does Nando really think he can hit a winner of off any shot that Novak produces? He attempted a hughe backhand dtl when Novak gave gim a deep down the midle backhand. Crazy guy...

He's doing his best attempt at playing balzout aggressive like the Stanimal... without the control or shot selection of Wawrinka. :nono

Nole had a bit of a brain fart on his last serve, but manages to still win it.

Nando lost his 'mojo' a long time ago, he is not even the shadow that he was year ago when he played much better than Wawrinka :nono

The tournament of his career for Ilya Marchenko. When you look at this clip with Chardy, h does not look like a player who spent most of his time on the challenger tour.
3 top 50 wins in a row for him, one being a top 10. Well done!
:clap

Nadal had another rough go today. He's not looking quite as sharp as he did toward the end of 2015.

Thanks Nehmeth, I was hoping for a spark from Rafa this year, I guess it's a process
