I do hope he wins this title so he could gain some momentum before the Australian Open. Also, he has not won a title before the Australian Open so it would be nice if he could achieve this year.

Also, he could add more Hardcourt titles on his resume!

Yeah I think Nadal has this one. Although interestingly, despite dominating the man he's likely to face in the final (Monfils), and being a pretty bad match-up for him, the two times Nadal has lost to the Frenchman took place in this very tournament (in 2009 and 2012).

Monfils smoked Brands and has looked very sharp all week, so I'm not certain Rafa will win.

But he has a good chance, Gael usually doesn't bring it in finals, even when he is playing well.
