Wow that didn’t last long, Agassi is now the only SuperCoach who seemed to have failed.....and he worked for free! Perhaps Boris would be rehired?

I think it's clear by now that Novak's issues are nothing to do with his coaching staff. Frankly if all was well with him he's plenty good enough to continue without any exceptional coaching staff. It becomes increasingly interesting trying to figure out what's going on with him. Clearly going forward he can't use injuries as an excuse for his massive drop in form

This isn’t very encouraging. What we know of Agassi is that he would run crazy drills thousands of times over while he was on his path back into the top 100 when he was younger. My guess is that he tried to do the same with Djokovic and ended up hitting his other ‘priorities’.

Clearly there is more going on in Novak’s life, and it looks like his large entourage isn’t helping anything

The Novak saga continues.

In the end, it doesn't matter who his coach is - it has to come from him.

As I like Djokovic 82764843265486435 times more than I like Agassi (oh, wait, I don't like Agassi), this way I will feel much better when (ok, and if) he starts winning again.

Excuse me, please! I used to like Agassi. He was my favourite player at 1 time.

Oh no! Now we are enemies for life!!!!!! :chainsaw::chainsaw::chainsaw:
Lol. I think that's a big exaggeration when we just have a disagreement over a little thing or 2 especially when there are many things we agree on. I used to like watching him when I 1st started watching tennis in the early to mid '90s. I thought he looked kinda handsome then. I also liked other famous guys like Darren Day, Craig McClachlan & Jason Donovan. I was pre-teen to teenage then so I guess you could say I had a pre-teen/teenage crush on him. We both have minds of our own so are forced to disagree sometimes. Lol.

I don't think he has a large entourage anymore. He's dumped all of his faithful. I think that's the point. His only constant is Pepe Imaz, as far as I can tell. Agassi left, but did say that they'd "agreed to disagree." Given how brief their collaboration was, I thought that was telling that it wasn't especially genial. I hate to draw conclusions, but Pepe Imaz seems to be the poison in the water. And the last man standing in Novak's team.

The moral of the story is that you should never agree to coach someone without paying. If he does not pay you, chances are he won't listen to you either.
Are you suggesting that Agassi was coaching him for free?

This doesn't bode well for Novak. So he has dismissed every person who has coached him. It makes you wonder what on earth he could be looking for that he continues to look for it in people.

It's even weirder when you consider the only person he's kept is Pepe Imaz his "spiritual coach". Doesn't seem like it's tennis he's looking for! Maybe he's searching for his inner 25yr old

I don't think Boris will come back. Consider that bridge sufficiently burned.

I am not suggesting. It was widely publicized that it is the case.
That was nice of Agassi to do so. It looks like Agassi really wanted to help, and I have no doubt that he would have helped Novak improve, even at 30.
