First Round already complete. No real surprises in a fairly weak field.

Karlovic defeated young Aussie Alex De Minaur, but not really a schock - Dr Ivo has won here before. Ryan Harrison the other seed to make an early exit, retired.

Good try. No one cares. And even the HOF inductees can't blow anyone's skirt up. :lulz2: Only kidding. I'm sure the Stevie Johnson fans are hoping that he pulls this one off.

I am not really a fan of this Hall of fame. It looks like conditions are arbitrary and almost every one gets in.

Totally doubt that Karlovic wins this anymore, his time has passed.

You may be right. But, Karlovic is still playing at 39 and in singles. Not like the oldies of Paes, Nestor and Bryans who are playing in 40s, but only in doubles.

Fed is only 36. So, this gives hope that Fed can play for three more years at least.

Based on recent observations, those who stick around past 35, are going downhill. Roger did well at 35-36 ish, but you can see already that this year he is not performing as well as last year. I know he is exceptional, so let's see if he can withstand the trend.

Another member of the 35+ club, Muller was upset by Granollers.
This is quite a bad flop by Gilles, brcause Granolla is not just outside of the top 100, but also he is anything but a grass wizard.

So do I of course, the Indian guy is ranked just outside of the top 150, I would be shocked to see him the winner.

I believe this is a different Indian guy than the guy who beat Shapo in Stuttgart.
