Seems we are more travelogue than tennis on this thread. (I'm fine with that, btw. Quiet times in real tennis, and a respite from the Fedalovic Wars.) In that spirit, I looked up Salvatore Caruso, who apparently comes from Avola in Sicily. So I googled it. Holy smokes! Pretty nice place to come from. Another one for the armchair travelers here.

You mean we are not talking tennis? Even the birds are singing it's all serb final waiting to happen. Rooting for Djere and Lajovic to make sunday appointment on the centre court.

On another note Avola looks nice too. Visit to Sicily is on my to do list.

Looks like, because Djere failed to Balasz who mostly plays challengers. Strange. Caruso retired after losing 1st set to Duci.

Big surprise to see the Hungarian Balazs in the final. He is ranked 207 and never been in the top 150.

It will be a maiden title for the champion, no matter who will that be.
