The situation is getting complicated now. The ex-wife of Sterling has thrown her hat in
the ring and she claims she is a co-owner of the franchise. She says she fully supports
the decision of Adam Silver in banning Sterling for life, but is not giving up her rights
on ownerships. Apparently, in CA due to "community property" law, she may be
right in claiming co-ownership of Clippers unless it was banned explicitly by means
of pre-nuptial agreement.

The coach Doc Rivers seem to support her. The players do not want anyone from
that family to hold the reins anymore. Looks like there will be several more twists and
turns before this issue gets resolved.

The coach Doc Rivers seem to support her.Doc is very forgiving and very very foolish to associate with that woman(ex-wife of Sterling ) who is really a female extension of that bigot.

I am listening to some new tape of this guy talking to another guy where he is saying he is not a racist.

He is also saying "You can't force someone to sell their property in America"

I think soon he will find out otherwise.

Tomorrow night there is a interview of him premiering in CNN. I think it is
an hour long (or at least half an hour long) interview with Anderson.

Folks might have already seen Silly Rabbit's interview with Barbara Walters.

The wife also gave an interview to ABC. She says she will fight and won't give up
her 50% of ownership easily. But, she says it is ok for her to be a passive owner
(just taking the profits) and not being actively involved in the management and other
affairs of the team.

However, the NBA commissioner claims that once he has the votes in, he has
the right to boot the wife too according to the NBA constitution and he is right about
that.

Now, the question will be which one has priority? The NBA constitution over the
community property of CA or the other way.

There are obviously serious legal problems as otherwise by now they would
have voted and got it over with.

Now with both Donald and Sterling expressing their interest to stage a fight,
we are in for a long drawn out drama over this.

Interviews Galore on CNN, ABC etc.

SO far we have had interviews by Silly Rabbit, Shelly the wife, Donald Sterling,
Adam SIlver and Magic JOhnson.

It does not appear that this will end anytime soon.

Apparently both Donald and Shelly have agreed to "voluntarily" sell the clippers and would
like to prevent the vote and take over. They are in negotiations with NBA. However, NBA is
playing hardball (don't know why) and insists it will proceed with the vote.

A foolish old man playing around with a much younger women who he shouldn't have been with anyway. Even without the race card there is no way that is a good situation.

Where is everyone screaming for free speech on this thread? I must have missed it.

All those defenders of Charlie Hebdo are noticeably silent over here.
