Serves it out like a champ. Sends the defending champ packing in the first round. :bye:

They said he was 100% at the net. Well-done.

Very curious to see what kind of shape and mood Kyrgios is in.

He looks really all over the place, atm. And now he's exercising the shoulder. He doesn't look that interested, but that could change.

Nick loses the first set and getting treatment for the shoulder. Still not sure if he wants to be here, but he can always flip the switch. Sandgren wisely just trying to be steady and smart.

Apparently, the last time he took break from tennis due to injury, he was actually spotted playing basketball.

I really don't begrudge Nick his love of basketball. And no one knows what a little recreation means compared to real injury. Nick's issue is commitment. He looked disengaged the whole match, and his mother was clearly seen trying to get him to stay in it. He just wasn't having it.

Nobody can find fault with his love of bb. But, missing tennis tourney due to injuries and during that recovery period, playing bb is highly questionable.

Late match still going, Johnson is about to be upset.

Order of play that includes blockbuster match between Delpo and Kei

Play suspended in DC due to rain, but Thiem is down 0-3 to Anderson in the 1st set.
