This is off-topic/has nothing to do with Cincinnati..But where the hell has Tsonga been? He hasn't played since Wimbledon.

He's injured and withdrew from all the lead-up USO tourneys.

US Men Watch:

1st Rd: It is 50% 4 out of 8 made it to the second round.
2nd Rd over for US Men: It is 25% 1 out of 4 made it to the third round.

So, we now have only Isner left and he faces Milos tomorrow.

he was a set up vs gulbis at wimby, then missed a set point for a 2-0 in sets lead, but soon after tsonga retired with a knee injury.

not to be seen on a tennis court since then.

Watching Nadal v. Becker. How many more times do we have to hear that 'the most underrated part of Nadal's game is his net play,' when he puts another one away at the net? Sorry, but there must be a statute of limitations on that comment.

How many times Moxie? :snigger

I don't know why you listen when Gimmelstop is talking anyway. You should just mute the tv for the remainder of the match.

I know I'm in the minority, but I mostly like Gimelstob. He's improved over the years. Side note: isn't Becker the guy that beat Agassi in his last career match.

Moxie, I think by the time John McEnroe stops proclaiming the "greatest" on everything, that's when commentators will stop saying "the most underrated part is his net play."

And Nadal for the first set. K, it looks like everyone else is so unconcerned about this one, they're just enjoying a lovely summer's night. :) I'm watching, and I'll try to be good company, but I'm also trying to multi-task a translation. Rafa is looking very sharp, anyway. No drop-off from Canada.

Fair point! And good to see it's not just me and K and the crickets here!
