Credit to John Isner for fighting back after being down match point. As much I hate his game, he is a fighter.

As for Delpo, he will still be huge threat at the US Open. Hopefully, he shows a lot more fight on what he showed towards the end of the match.

It was a great match. Sorry for Del Potro but I also like Isner so very happy for him. I am not sure how much is left in him now though for the final.

I did not expect Isner to win today's match at all especially in light of yesterday's match where he had to take the top guy out in a 3 tight sets match. No excuses.

That's right. He just keeps popping serves, gives no rhythm and even wins scrappy tiebreaks, like the second one tonight. All the same, it was del Po's match to lose - and he lost...
