I am still to this day in ' a complete stupor' how Sam won it was the only time she actually had a decent bhand. I always thought if she was to win a GS title in singles it would be on clay. Don't remind me how she choked in the final against Fran at RG final who deserved her win.

Jill has been under the radar,this will be their first meeting tomorrow in the final against Ash,they do have similar games,interesting,lets see how she handles a final.

Ash has reached the final without dropping a set.This is her 6th final of 2021.

Jil who had been off the tour with injuries,has had a impressive run to the final,defeating Osaka,Bencic and Pliskova.This is her first WTA 1000 final.Jil has won 2 clay court titles.

This is their first meeting,they both have strong fhands,play similar on court.

Congratulations to Stosur and Zhang who are the Ladies Doubles Champions in Cincinnati defeating No 6 seeds Dabrowski/Stefani 7-5 6-3.It is Stosur's 27th career doubles title win and teaming up with Zhang again after winning the AO doubles in 2019.( Btw it is their 3rd title together)

Congratulations to Ash Barty winning her 5th title of the year defeating Jil Teichmann 63 61.Ash did not drop a set all tournament.

Well done to Jil (Wild Card) who had a impressive tournament defeating top seeds Osaka,Bencic,Pliskova to make her first WTA1000 final,she has a solid all court game,moves well,hopefully Jil can remain healthy,she had injuries earlier this year,her game translates well on all surfaces.
