Possibly, but the wiley veteran may have something to say. I think it will tell us something about Zverev.
didn't see it but was a bit unhappy with the zed not making it past ferrer,

zed is still very uneven in is level of play which I presume was partly why he lost set two 1-6....with maybe some decent play from ferrer lol.

wow..personally I was thinking a resurgent sir grigor might have a half decent shot of winning but I wasn't expecting it to be in straights. grigor looks to have got his orb back on track (not sure if an 'orb' can be on track ..maybe in the correct orbit?)..having reentered top20 rank last week,

I didn't see this match..but rafa sounded glum from the post match quotes i've seen.
Grigor is trying to get his groove back, but Rafa helped him at least as much as he helped himself, today. They started out fairly equal: some good shots and exciting rallies, but neither held serve until Grigor did in the 6th game (I think.) Then Dimitrov settled down, but Rafa continued to be inconsistent, which eventually gave him the confidence to play with abandon. Rafa has every reason to feel glum. Beyond snatches of brilliance, he played terribly. It was hard to watch. Maybe Grigor will take confidence from finally having beaten Rafa into the next round, but he's going to have to start better than he did today.

Yep, more consistency required for sure... but he's had a good season.

Good final here: Murray vs Dimitrov. Too bad that Raonic had to withdraw. Might be too early for me to watch it all, but hopefully some of it.

It was embarrassing to watch the match between Edmund and Murray, because Edmund didn't dare to win and blew every advantage he had. 5-2 in the tb and then almost 3-0 in the second set (well from 40-15 on 2-0 he got broken).

Seems Dimitrov's plan is no different so espn is not showing this live but after midnight so no decent person can watch the final.

Edmund is young. And I'm not sure where you live, but these finals are in the middle of the night for most of us. I don't think that's a conspiracy against decent folk. You worried that Murray might take the YE#1? ;)

If they keep up giving up like Edmund did he will get to #1.

Oh, for heaven's sake. Don't be so afraid about Murray getting to #1 that you're going to blame it on young Edmund.
