It was 50 for 3rd set. Some would call that winning ugly! Only 2 DF's in 3rd set, Petra had 4. With all her faults, Maria does manage to win a lot of matches, that competitive spirit carries some weight.

Just some updated news regarding Petra,she said in her press conference after the final at Beijing,she is still thinking about playing at Moscow.I hope she dosent,she said she was tired,she should use this time to rest and prepare for Singapore.

Hey, give her a break. She was tired. She wouldn't rise her game against anybody yesterday.

I don't think Petra lost because of exhaustion. She played a strategically dumb match. I don't know what her coach is telling her, but she should hire Saviano who will tell her that she can and should outhit anyone on tour.

There is no way Petra should be losing to Pova. This is a sign she is not over her mental lapses. She needs to realize and embrace her tennis identity.
