I suppose Djoker is only favorite here in China.

I wish Djoker vs Nadal in final. I miss Nadal, tennis needs him.

More than anything we need young players to step up. A nadal resurgence could only keep tennis afloat another year or two. All the top guys are too old to rest hopes on too much for more than a season or two. Competition needs to come from below!

I agree. That is why I think it would be so much more exciting to see Sock in the final than Rafa. (I know many will not be on the same page, but whatever)

I somehow forced myself to watch the Nadal vs Pospisil highlights. His forehand is atrocious, as well as his shots on the run, but HIS SERVE is beyond pathetic. Pains me to watch. Why would you try to play with so much topspin when you obviously can't trouble a decent opponent, is beyond me. How the mighty have fallen...

Then talking about young players it would be more exciting to watch the final between Sock and Coffin but we should ask the crowd to whom they prefer to watch, isn't?:)

I'm kinda torn in this event. Rafa is playing better but not good enough to beat Novak, and I don't want Novak to get yet another cheap win off a below par Rafa. He's got about seven wins already against a Rafa who was injured, or was struggling to regain form after injury... :popcorn

As Nadal appears to be a confidence player, I don't think another whipping to Novak will help his form any.

Yeah, Novak has a lot of them cheap easy wins against a sub-par Rafa. But I don't think Rafa would be thrown off by a defeat to him, I just don't like the H2H being skewed this way. I'm not saying Rafa should tank, lord knows he would never think that way, and anyway, I dunno how tanking works, it's usually Novak fans bring that to the table. Still, long as Rafa is improving, that's the main thing...

Sock and Goffin were on the same side of the draw, a final was never going to happen here between them.

Good! Bring it on. Rafa has a few monkeys to shift off his back, let's start with FFS!

Unless Isner would have some discomfort or injury (it wouldn't be any surprise) he vs Novak match could be very interesting

Don't worry, Rafa will have no need to tank. Fog is waiting for him at SF. :devil
