Wawrinka defends a title for the first time in his career.

Although he will not defend his AO, I think he will be a fixture in top 8 for a couple of
years more.

Despite his inconsistency this last year, Stan has made a huge leap in his career when usually the players are not able to improve any further.
He has been in the top 4 for a full year and he peaked at #3 ranking in this era which we know how tough was to accomplish.
It may have been facilitated by Murray's surgery, but that is life, Andy is not the only one top player who's career got to a halt, even temporary, by an injury.
There is a big question mark over what his year will be like, where does he go from here? Can he keep it up? He will have to win some more big titles or go deep constantly in the big events, which he did not do.
Will we see some more surge like a DC title boost a la Djoko-Tipsy?
