First I want to congratulate Meddy for a great tournament
This match was soo close and very little margins
Meddy deserves to be back in the Top Ten, has played like a Top ten player in Dubai and IW
Well done Meddy

Jannik has created tennis history today ( you still make by blood pressure boil at times )
By winning IW at age 24, he is the Youngest Player Ever to win all major hard court titles,
Jannik Forza!

Really Meddy. How dense does one have to be? There were at least 3 balls that were sitters and he hit right back to his opponent. He couldn't possibly think Red wouldn't put a racquet on something in his wheelhouse. Anyway, Congrats to Red, but we've seen this movie before. Someone knocks one of Alcasin out the tourney and the other ends up winning it.

Press Conference Med v Alcaraz

And if I hear Chuck say he's never seen someone play a certain way one more time. Dude, he's been playing like that for the last month, that's what your coaching staff is for. Try watching someone else's match for a change instead of your own Sportscenter hilight reel.

This final is not quite as interesting as the women's one.

Tell me about it! I don't normally watch Medvedev b/c he absolutely frustrates me! He hits these great shots, then doesn't back it up allowing his op. back into the pt.! It makes no sense to continue allowing the same thing to occur against the elites of the game! His volleys need work b/c he has no confidence in them! :angry-face::astonished-face::yawningface::fearful-face:

Daniil should have won a TB after 4:0 lead. He folded there at the end.

I think we have to give credit to Jannik he won the last 7 points in the 2nd TB, he never faced a BP, he stayed strong and he had ice in his veins, Meddy made some ufe, I guess that was the pressure

Jannik Sinner has become the First Player to win consecutive ATP Masters 1000 events without conceding a set, since the formats introduction in 1990. Groundbreaking!

Oh please Stefano's is already lost lol his ranking is now top 40
Zverev just hasn't got mental ability to win a grand slam Jannik dusted him off the court today 62 64
Med has being playing good ball of late especially in Dubai and IW
The fall of Stefanos is one of the most baffling things ever. He has way too much talent to be ranked outside the Top 40 in the world, and he really hasn't had a serious injury to explain his decline.

At least with Zverev and Medvedev, while they will not win slams, they can still make deep runs in tournaments, and still beat a top player every once in a while. Stefanos has just been getting progressively worse for 5 years now, ever since blowing the 2021 French Open final.

Stef has had back problems over 1 year, he should have taken time off the tour to heal his back even when he had that short stint with Goran Ivanisevic who told him he was very unfit and he must get fit before Goran could continue coaching him? well he didnt like the 'truth' and that didnt coaching arrangement lasted about two weeks I think LOL! also he has done nothing over the years to correct his bhand,,maybe if he had a proper coach, rather than daddy, it could have been corrected, talent can only get you so far in our game, our game today is around 80% mental, which Stef lacks.

You can give credit to Red for some of those points, but not all 7. There were definitely some donations thrown in there.

I did say in my post that Meddy did have ufe if you read all my post to Don Fabio, still under pressure players often have ufe, which was the case in the 2nd TB.
Also I dont believe in 'shoulda coulda won, to me that is a 'hypothetical scenario' and dosent deal with the actual facts in any match
