Don Hi!
Thien who only looks about 15 lol! has a great understanding of the court perimeters and uses it to his advantage, one would think he was brought up on clay, he uses the whole court, which enables him to translate his game to all surfaces, the one thing that is missing is a better serve if Change can improve his serve, to me he is a top ten player.
It's already better than it was 6 months ago. He'll get there. He'll become more consistent. He still throws in that sloppy game here and there to get broken, but man o man is he $ in TB's

His serve has to be more consistent against good returners he has youth on his side let's see how he goes for the rest of this season

Just catching up on some highlights. That rally at 30/30 in the first game of the final set. Wow.

You make your own luck in tennis matches BTW! regardless of the tournament you are playing in!
Jack showed True Grit especially after getting broken when he was serving for the match, he re grouped and then never went away in the TB
Well done Jack! coming back from the tour after being out for 6 months and as defending champion you now have a place in the QFs

Novak's had some bad luck at IW's the last decade! He got beat tonite w/ Jack hanging in those longer rallies & breaking thru at critical times!
This may end up being a blessing in disguise for Novak. He got some matches in and will get some rest for Miami, where he played some of his best tennis last year. His game, at this stage of his career, better suits Miami than IW.

It is super impressive what Jack D is doing, coming back from such a long break, finding his sea legs . I am impressed. It could have gone either way and Nole is still doing Nole things but kudos to Jack D.

It was a great win from Jack, also Arthur Fils who has made the QFs being off the tour with lower back fracture, his gutsy win being down 0-5 in the 2nd set TB to FAA and he clawed his way back to win the match.Great stuff.

I am watching Draper the whole week. He is playing great tennis considering long time out of competition.

It was a huge battle last night with Novak, well worth the ticket.

both him and Fils. Although Sasha is taking care of business today.

I must say, if Sasha really pursues this new aggression, Sincaraz might end up being more concerned about where he lands in the RG draw than Novak!

Sacha is looking pretty good too with newly found agressive approach. He has to make some changes if he is serious about taking a slam from Jannik or Carlos. Same old tactics never even worked against the elite guys.

Fils performance today was very disappointing.Rushing and making very uncharacteristic errors on the fhand side. Still I am happy for him competing so well since returning back from injury.

^yup, both Fils and Draper have been very impressive in their comebacks. Ahead of schedule. I'm licking my chops at the possibility that Draper will be properly in the mix at Wimbledon
