A tennis commentator said they had a similar Bee invasion in a tournament in Mexico last year.
Tournament was in Guadalajara WTA1000 match had to be postponed players involved Kvitova - Pera

OMG The Bee Keeper is doing his thing without any protection, like the white hood with mesh they usually wear, not even gloves or white suit? I would not like to get stung from a bee thank you very much

I have a nephew who is a beekeeper. He doesn't use protection, either. He knows what to do, plus he's kind of immune. He uses selective bee stings for healing reasons, too. Homeopathic, I guess.

That is a drag...they seemed most attracted to him, at first. Hopefully, he's not allergic.

The Bee delayed upset Zverev and his game, not that I am complaining :)
And Alcaraz gets the early break. If anyone deserved to be upset by the killer bees, it was Carlos. Alex has no excuses.

Charly seems in control of this match now with the early break,
Charly agent was quickly to point out he was stung by the killer bees, the way he is playing it hasnt affected his game

I dont know why in the past Charly has had trouble with Zverev and his game
Good to see Charly has his confidence back, last couple of matches at IW have been his best so far this year
Looks like we will have a Alcaraz v Sinner SF

Believe it or not Zverev’s diabetes/blood sugar levels are probably playing a part in his play. He tries to coordinate the timing of everything as best he can. He is a legitimate threat to Carlos when he’s firing on all cylinders.

Well he isnt a threat in this match, Charly is just doing his thing, actually last year when he won, it was one his best tournaments, I have seen him play from start to finish

Well done Charly a really clean match from you 63 61 over Zverev
Charly v Sinner in the SF, should be a fun match!
Apart from the fact they will be playing for the No 2 ranking :)

That's a fair point, and doesn't get talked about much, but I don't imagine it decided the match.

Yikes...late break from Medvedev. Serving for the set at 6-5.
