Very glad to see Zverev beat Goffin. It puts him at #43 in the live rankings.

Kohli defeats Delpo easily: 6-4, 6-1 and sets up the other semi with the Fabulous.

No maybe about it. He lost to last year's finalist, an expected result.

Definitely looks like Zverev is the guy to go furthest in the future so far. Way too many errors from both but Zverev is sharper out there.

Thiem is three and a half years older, which means that Zverev has just that much more growing room to do while Thiem is as good, or close to as good, as he's going to get.

Thiem has still some room to grow. Players do not peak these years before 24-25.
First and foremost he has to learn how to play more economical. He is dropping too many sets, even against lower ranked players.

At times, Thiem's is unplayable from the baseline. He possess some truly amazing shots. He is also very, very fast on his feet. To the point where only a few players on tour are faster than him, if any. I just don't get how he can't get some bigger wins under his belt. Admittedly he doesn't play the big points as well as the elite players do, but I guess he hasn't reached his peak yet. Oh well...

Thiem has room to grow. Get him off the baseline, and he is not great. If he improves that portion, he will go much further.

Much like Nishikori his serve is very erratic and his break point conversion rate is woeful. Hopefully he'll improve considerably as he's great to watch when playing well.

Well done Kohlschreiber. Almost blew it when he played the point back to Thiem a few points before and then the poor drop shot. Last 2 points were excellent though, especially the service return winner to go up 6-4.

Congratulations to Phillip. Dominic needs to learn to be more consistent within his matches.
