Welcome to the last Master's tourney of 2015. The draw is out.

Here are the projected quarterfinals.

Novak vs. Bird

Marty McFly benefited from the withdrawal of Milos and gets a seeded spot.
Sorry folks, there is 0 chance of Fedal final here.

Am I mistaken or is Djokovic’s post U.S. Open record 66-2 since 2012? He lost to Sam Querrey in the first round here that year, and to Federer in Shanghai 14. Can't think of any others. :)

Rafa plays doubles here partnering with Leander Paes. They have never played together and it will be one heck of a team. But, they are not even seeded.

Andy also plays with fello Brit Colin Fleming.

Paes has played with over 100 partners in his long career. It's truly amazing.

Rafa cannot keep away from Rosol. Rosol has qualified and managed to get into the few lines above Rafa in the draw. Now, all that Rosol has to do is to win his first match against GGL and he will get
a second chance to tame the Bull.

I don't see Rafa doing so well there as in Basle, he's not going to recover too fast. But if he faces Rosol, he's not going to dial it in, either. Going to be hard for him and Federer next week, two veterans, both went to three sets a few times this week...

I expect Fed to do well in Bercy. Beating Rafa should give him a psychological boost (even though it was just eked out). Besides, I don't see any landmines in Fed's part of draw.

I think it will be a Fedovic final with an unpredictable outcome.

We'll see how well he recovers. It's a lot to ask...

With the first round bye, both could postpone playing till Wednesday. That will give them some time though. I would certainly not count on a spent Fed winning against a rested Djokovic, if they do meet.

Rafa has Rosol, Anderson, Man, Novak (let us stop listing there) aspotential opponents in sequence.

Fed has Seppi, Isner, Cilic, Andy and Novak as potential opponents in sequence.

I am all for players playing doubles to get their feet wet, but Rafa has played enough tennis this week and this might not be the best idea THIS time around.

I see Michael Berrer lost in the first round of the qualifiers. I re3member at the beginning of the season, it was mentioned he will retire at the end of it.
Does this mean this was his last match?

The Top eight seeds are the same as the upcoming WTF, although the seeds will be a bit different after Paris. Murray and Federer are duking it out for No. 2 here, Nadal should be No. 5 by the end of the week and Nishikori could slip to No. 8 maybe? Tsonga, Gasquet and Anderson are also playing for an alternate spot.

Tomic is up a break in the second set and F3 is slapping balls everywhere but inside the lines. Playing like he doesn't care with 17w and 31 u.f.e. at 6-3, 3-1 so far.

It's over for the Fog

Wawrinka lost to Tomic in their only meeting. Bernie barely broke a sweat out there against Fog. I think he can pull off the upset.
